I started my career in marketing and communications as a contract employee with J & J Works PW (JJWPW), a private exterior cleaning business. The business was contracted by the Lower Polk Community Benefit District (LPCBD) to assist with safety, cleaning, and hospitality services for the Lower Polk neighborhood in San Francisco. During this time, I handled projects for both JJWPW and LPCBD.

On behalf of JJWPW, I handled the social media, newsletters, and branding in an effort to raise brand awareness and improve customer relations. Creating content and managing email campaigns for the brand lead to a 42% increase in user traffic within the first month.

While collaborating with LPCBD, I launched and maintained LPCBD’s social media accounts to showcase community events, neighborhood businesses, and local homeless services. I also created branded ID badges and custom area maps for teams working on field, provided analysis reports for review on a monthly basis, wrote and distributed press releases to targeted audiences, and assisted in the production of a promotional video for the brand.
